Join Dr. Donald Koones for enthusiastic narration about the historical significance of the theatre and background on Charles Dickens and his famous holiday book on the trip to Washington D.C. On the trip to Washington, a quick lunch and restroom stop will be included.
Enjoy a matinee show of “A Christmas Carol” with a fine cast of characters and music at Ford’s Theatre. At the conclusion of the play, journey through Washington D.C. to festive Georgetown where participants will enjoy visiting the shops and restaurants all decked out for the holidays.
