The American Red Cross has been around for over 140 years and with the Johnstown flood, Pennsylvania became a part of that early story. Join Susan Watson as she provides and overview of Red Cross history and the organization’s work in Pennsylvania, emphasizing Harrisburg, with topics including disaster response, early first aid, water safety, service to the armed forces, and the blood program.
