ABOUT ABOUT

Enjoy an afternoon luncheon tea, an illustrated talk, and a tour of the Fort Hunter Mansion.

Begin the afternoon with an illustrated presentation of artist Violet Oakley by Dr. Donald Koones. Oakley would become the principal artist for the largest amount of murals in the Pennsylvania Capitol and the first woman artist to receive a large commission for adorning a capitol building in the United States.

Then switch gears for a delightful and delicious luncheon tea consisting of homemade scones, chicken salad and homemade rolls, mini appetizers, fresh fruit, homemade cake, fancy ice cream parfaits, and unending cups of tea.

The afternoon will conclude with a walk through the Mansion and the Gilded Age at Fort Hunter clothing exhibit.

$35 non-members/$30 members, seating is limited.
