During the Civil War, thousands of citizens from the Harrisburg area answered the call to end the Southern rebellion. Harrisburg resident George A. Brooks, a young publisher who had suffered a series of business and familial setbacks, left his troubles behind and headed off to war as the Captain of Company D of the 46th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. Join author Ben Myers to learn about just who those 100 men were, from their eye color to their occupations and fates.
